Guest Cast

  • One of the boys seen during the Young Richard flashback is supposed to be a Young Alan Menken, the show's composer. According to showrunner Kat Likkel, there is an audio easter egg, where the Young Alan Menken calls Gareth "a little shop of horrors" after being pushed off the swings.[3] Little Shop of Horrors was the musical that shot Alan Menken into the limelight. The Young Alan Menken later asks "Would you like me to write you a theme song, my king?", with Gareth responding "Shut up, Menken!"
  • Karen David (Isabella) and Clare Foster (Roberta Steingas) had a discussion and decided that if the show is renewed, they would like it if their characters became best friends.[4]
  • Although several of them have spoken lines, Menken and the other children were not credited.
  • The "Season 2 Finale" song includes reprisal excerpts of "Hey, Hey, We're the Monks," "A New Season," "Galavant," and an instrumental stinger of "My Dragon Pal and Me."
  • Sid gets his first costume change of the entire series.
  • Muzz Khan (Barry) wrapped his season two stint on November 5, 2015.[5]
