Guest Cast

  • According to showrunner John Hoberg, the painting done of the battle depicts Richard killing Wormwood on the hill, which occurs in "The One True King (To Unite Them All)".[3]
  • There are a few unused and alternate shots in the "Galavant Recap," including King Richard chopping walnuts on a log (from "About Last Knight") and a close angle on him and the unicorn as he draws the Hero Sword from the stump (from "Aw, Hell, the King").
  • 300 extras were employed for the battle sequence.[4]
  • Although she has an extensive background as a singer, Karen David was "scared to death" when she learned she'd have to rap in the song "I Don't Like You."[5]
  • Do the D'DEW was filmed amidst a horrendous Moroccan desert sandstorm,[6][4] which caused a variety of problems for the production and made it impossible to use the actors' live vocal takes.
  • The soundtrack includes an additional verse in "Do the D'DEW."
